When Paypal was the payment system, I could get an email notifying me I had received a payment for a sale.
Now with Ebay managing payments, I get nothing. I have to look on Ebay to see if something sold.
I am messing up my top rated seller status by shipping late since I don't have a lot of sales and don't look at Ebay every day.
How can I set up an alert, message or email when something sells? Communications preferences don't seem to have anything on this.
HELP!
Thanks, Chris

Can you download the e-Bay app on your phone so that you will get an alert there?
As a Seller, having items for sale and not checking your Seller Hub at least once a day, could be a recipe for disaster. How long is your handling time? Do you not want too many late shipments in your metrics. Maybe extend those slightly if being online every day is not possible? Good luck!

Having to look on ebay is a GOOD thing. NEVER ship something based on a email you received. Too many scams out there that involve sending the seller a fake email that looks official but is not. It tells you that the item has been paid for and go ahead and ship the item.

I still get emails when anything sells on eBay. I check my seller hub more often than my email so usually know from there.

I have been selling on eBay for over 21 years and they completely upend the system. I'm going to stop selling here completely instead, if they don't fix email notifications.
I hoped them ditching PayPal would be a great thing, but I will not login every day or download their tracking app and put up with a bunch of ads they will probably send me.
Not getting an email is hardly a good thing. How would anyone possibly scam you about selling something? A spambot phishing email just happens to request for that one random item you are selling on eBay? That's ridiculous.

That's not true. Go into your account settings under email communications. When I get a Buy It Now or Auction sale, I always get an email notification from ... wait for it ... eBay! My God, I Love Managed Payments!
Now that's not to say those email notifications have a ton of gibberish BEFORE telling me what Item sold (including the email header), having to scroll down to find it, the price, etc. They could reverse the curse, ya know...

That's not true. I don't see "email communications" anywhere on the website. Is this on the app?
I just checked my messages and there is NO MESSAGE indicating a sale. No email either. Wth, eBay?
I DID receive an email when the buyer filed a complaint, though.
Here are the email notification options under "Account -> Communications -> Seller Activity":

Amen brother. It is absolutely ridiculous that eBay can't send some sort of automated email like they used to. Wonder what genius came up with the current system.
