Step-by-Step Guide to Accepting the Return & Providing a Label
Step 1: Go to the Return Request
· Click on the My eBay icon at the top-right of any eBay page.
· From the left-hand menu, go to Summary.
· In the "Recent Updates" section, you will see the return request. Click on See return details.
· Alternatively, you can go directly to the Resolution Center.
Step 2: Choose to Accept the Return
On the return details page, you will see several options. Click on Accept the return.
Step 3: Select Your Return Shipping Method
This is the most important part. You will be presented with a few choices:
· eBay Labels (Recommended and Easiest): This is the most common and protected method.
· Select the option to Purchase and send a return shipping label.
· eBay will automatically pre-fill the package weight and dimensions based on the original listing. It's crucial to verify these details are correct. If they aren't, click "Edit" to adjust them.
· Choose a carrier (USPS is most common for smaller items).
· eBay will show you the cost of the label. This amount will be deducted from your funds on file.
· Click Send label.
