question about negative feedback?

I had a buyer leave me negative feedback because they didn't read the item description I guess.  Well that happens but the item was delivered on 6-4-25 and the negative was left for me on the 6th.  I thought there was a 7 day waiting period from time of delivery?  Has that changed because it was only 2 days, not 7.  Just curious because I don't deal with this sort of thing usually.

Re: question about negative feedback?

There's supposed to be a 7 day waiting period between delivery and feedback when the seller is TRS, which you are.

It's expected that during that time, the buyer and seller could try to work out their differences.

That you have a 30-day free return policy might work in your favor, especially if the buyer didn't request a return.

Wait for others to advise, but I think I'd respond to the feedback with "I'm sorry you aren't happy with the item. I have 30-day free returns so if you're unhappy, please return it for a refund."

@albertabrightalberta

I believe the rule is from the date of purchase/Payment.  But lets find out for sure.  It certainly doesn't look like the rule applied to the OP.
