Did you mean:

policy violation

I received a notice that one of my items i'm selling has a policy violation. How do I know which item it is? How do I know which violation it is? I have no idea what to do. Thanks.

Usually (but not always) the item is removed and you can't relist it because it is just gone.  You won't find it in your unsolds.  Read the message again because there should be a reason so you won't make the same mistake again.

In what medium did this notice arrive? (eBay messages, your email, etc)

Yeah there is a "popular" phishing email I've been getting almost daily for the past week or so, besides all the usual tip offs it claims listings have been removed (but no info on which listings) nor does it clarify what the policy violation is.

Look in your ended listings if it wasn't removed completely it will be there.
But I wouldn't chance relisting because it will get ended again.

I had an item removed and it showed up in my unsolds as "cancelled" and ineligible for relisting.

They usually tell you what the item is.

For the OP: What did they say the policy violation was?
