Sorry to hear this.
When setting prices, it is important to charge enough to cover all your expenses, including your monthly eBay fees.
If at all possible, attempt to pay your eBay invoice as failure to do so can get your selling privileges revoked. Good luck.

Since you can't receive payments, how were you intending to pay your fees?

ebay will suspend your account if you don't pay them what is owed. You should know all the fees before attempting to sell on any international site. You should have been well aware what was owing on your account as you continued to list. Go to account section on myebay.

How, exactly, are your buyers paying you, since Sri Lanka forbids the use of Paypal in their country?

Likely, a paypal account setup outside Sri Lanka, ebay seems to be okay letting this continue, it does help keep the listing/member numbers up during the MP transition. We can't let those numbers drop, might make some stockholders start asking questions if the numbers fall.

Actually eBay and PayPal usually shut these guys down before they sell much, because they don't want to deal with their banking laws

How was an account set up without a way to accept payments? The OP shouldn't have even been allowed to list anything, let alone sell anything. How does this happen?

They use foreign addresses and bank accounts outside Sri Lanka to register their PayPal, or in some cases used hacked accounts, that are being sold.

Then they are found out and can't get payments, gotcha. Not sure what this sudden influx of Sri Lankan sellers is about, but you can't go one day without reading another thread.

I think someone in Sri Lanka is running a con whereby would-be sellers pay a fee for a selling account, perhaps with an offshore PayPal account set up for them, and the setup lasts just long enough for some dropship listings to get set up, and maybe even a few sales made, before the whole thing collapses and the would-be seller comes here seeking help.
I have not seen any Sri Lanka sellers stay here long enough to give us a clear explanation of how they got into their mess. If anyone has seen a post here that details how it is working, please post a link.
