I can't post an item which I want to sell because the website is asking to provide an automatic payment method. But I already applied one, which is my debit card. And it's still not going through.

You need to link your checking account in order to sell. With eBay's Managed Payments, funds are deposited directly to your checking account (after a few days). The verification process will take some time, so be prepared. Good luck!

Don't confuse how you pay on eBay  (debit card) with how you earn  on eBay (Managed Payments). Sign up for MP.
