Ebay needs to limit the number of offers members can make if they are not following through with the purchase-I've had 5 in 2 weeks. Shut them off after 2 offers that are not followed through!!!UGH

Have you limited the number of strikes a member can have before they're prohibited from bidding on or buying your items? If not, you may do that on your "Buying Management" page under the "Buyer Requirements" section:
The dropdowns offer other options, but "2 in 12" is the most restrictive.
And are you issuing strikes for the members who do not pay for your transactions through the unpaid item resolution process? The only way strikes will work for sellers is if all sellers follow through with unpaid item cancellations.

@papnjosh eBay used to only allow 3 back and forth Offers between "Trading partners". They increased that to I believe 5 on general items and 10 for vehicles, here's a link to the Help Pages on it:
For myself I don't use Best offer / Make offer, all it does is drive prices down ... if you typically have success with it in the categories you sell in then that is GREAT!

Not a fan either, but we get offers regardless. No need to even have that pesky feature on the listing - they still email their offers in!

@katzrul15 Agreed ... I get the same thing. Every listing has "Questions welcome" on it, it never hurts to ask. Occasionally I Reply with an offer ...
I had one this week on an Auction where a Buyer asked what was my absolute best price ... I let them know that the starting bid is the best price ... which in many cases is true due to acquisition costs and margins ...
