offers/counter offer question

Quick question:

I have an item that I have 37 watchers on. I sent an offer out to all 37 of them. 

One of the watchers made a counter offer. 

I haven't responded yet to his counter offer.  

Does this put all the other watchers I have sent the offer to on hold until I act upon his counter offer? or, can the other 36 still buy it at the offered at price right now?

Until a specific offer or counter offer has been accepted the item is still available to anyone.

Any of those other 36 could accept your offer at any time before it expires. Or they could send you a counteroffer.

An offer or counteroffer is not "dibs." If this is for a single item, then whoever accepts an offer or counteroffer first will cause all the others to immediately expire.

Nothing changes until:

Someone accepts your offer -or- you accept someone's offer/counter offer.
