My sales are dismal this month compared ..I see other folks getting sales for the exact item I have but MINE IS LOWER PRICED?!!! I have a Badger Airbrush with a excellent wood box travel case had it up for 89.00 some one bought the same brush with plain cardboard box for over 125.00.. same catagorie, nearly same listing title..have seen this happen time and time again.Just has to be people not seeing my listing?

Not sure but this is my season I sell sport shirts and jerseys and I am have a decent month 37 sales all of last month I had 32 sales but I am kinda seasonal.  The NFL/NHL and soon the NBA is what is driving my sales.  Also it helps the Red Sox and Yankees are having good season since I am up north.

Without being able to view both listings, we couldn't even speculate.

don't know what you guys are selling but today is a buyer's market.

unless your items fall into;

rare, desirable, hot, current fad, a niche, price (cheap)...

chances of a sale are slim.

more and more sellers are starting their prices at 99 cents.

check sterling silver cuff turquoise (set on lowest price).

that is what is being seen and sells first...

the only way to bypass this trend is to fall in 1 of the other categories.

Maybe the other sellers had a better feedback rating or history.

Maybe the buyer found that one and didn't look any further.

Lots of reasons.

My items fit 3 of those categories (rare, desirable, niche). They also fit:

  • no longer made
  • functional (i.e. not "decorative/collectible")
  • typically used by people with disposable income
  • high quality
  • best bought from someone who knows what they're selling

If you can find that kind of niche, you'll do well.

I don't know what a badger airbrush is, but I feel sorry for that poor little thing!

I know. I was just quoting your post in order to add to it. It's definitely directed at the OP and others who are having problems selling what everyone else sells.

have noticed the same trend this week, were use to batches a day or at least a solid batch a day, and its been 0 this week, with only a few orders the entire week. hopefully its just a one week slump but sure is odd.

We are seeing same, no sales on eBy last 10 days; does not trend with recent sales nor year -- we suspect unknown technical defects in their system(s), but they are at least aware of problems tracking impressions on paid promotions. May be related issue for sales. Not good.

If I merely search for "Badger airbruah" I get 1384 results.  If I wanted to buy one, I wouldn't look at more than the first 200 listings, so yes it's possible that your item is not being seen because there is so much competition.
