Has anyone else encountered numerous contacts to ebay support regarding the many cancelled orders numerous sellers, such as myself, faced due to their technical difficulties? Even after receiving an email from ebay stating the following, all the responses I am met with are "keep better track of your inventory" and "try not to cancel orders in the future." Meanwhile, I went to bed on May 25th with 0/851 defects in the last 90 days to 25/851 the morning I woke up after ebay adjusted my inventory settings. Zero help has been given to resolve this. Frankly, they have not been here to help, and I don't know where to go.
On May 26, 2023 an update was made to listings with international shipping options. As part of this recent change, we inadvertently increased the quantity of some of your listings. We understand that this may have caused you to cancel orders or issue refunds and we’re working to correct these quantity errors. |

I've seen often eBay make adjustments for these issues automatically on the 20th of the month at the time of the next evaluation.

Defects aren't like removing FB and things like that.
But really we need to get you the real scoop, not my guesses.
What is the best way for sellers to try and get these Defects removed. Clearly the Call center isn't working out well for some of them as we have seen this reported before. And how long does it take for the actual defect to get removed once Ebay agrees to remove it?
Or is Ebay auto removing these defects for affected sellers.

Hopefully the bots don't suspend your account because of performance metrics before we get to the 20th.

It is 15 days away. Let's not over react just yet.
IDK that bots actually suspend accounts without a real person over view! It is a pretty serious action.

Another thing to keep in mind @micri1315 is that eBay generally removes defects once a week on Thursdays, so you may see removal either this coming Thursday the 8th or next week the 15th.
You did receive a message confirming automatic removal so I expect you'll see it taken care of by the 20th at the latest. Keep us posted.

Hey @mam98031 these defects are going to be automatically removed from the impacted sellers' accounts. The implementation for mass defect removal can vary quite a bit, so it's impossible to say exactly when this will reflect on Seller Dashboards though. That being said, we'll also be protecting seller standings that are impacted by this issue. So even if the defect removal doesn't take place before the upcoming evaluation this month, seller ratings will be protected.
