Greetings
How is it fair that you can get negative feedback without the buyer ever contacting you?
First time in over 25 years I've had this happen and over a $4.00 card.
Thanks Ken

According to the buyers feedback they claimed you sent them a "wrong card". Did you offer a return for refund.

I didn't get "all bent to them".
The OP asked how it was fair, and I question trhe source of his/her expectation.

The philosophy of eBay is all about the three pillars of eBay customer support:
(1) Unethical;
(2) Unreasonable; and
(3) Unfair.
The policy of allowing a buyer to leave you negative feedback without contacting you meets all three of these standards .

Feedback should be done away with completely and a successful transaction percentage used instead, based on several metrics.

20 plus years here too at 100%.... 3 negatives in the last month. Not one contacted us, nor answered our attempts to reach out to the buyer. No return requests, no contact, nothing from the buyer. One not even about our item ( saying we shipped in a bubble mailer when we dont). One was even about a delayed shipment ( we shipped in less that 24 hours after purchase ) that supposedly Ebay says they are protecting and removing under their policy "Ebay seller protection for shipping delay" well they have denied our request for removal for who knows what reason. As others mention the only thing we can see is that you need to use the "reply to feedback" option to sell your side in 80 characters or less.

Buyers "should" reach out to seller first before leaving negative feedback.
Common sense. Common courtesy.
Not all buyers have that.
