Are you asking what to list as your first item?
That's a very odd question.
What if we suggest something that you don't have?

Gesamar0
Consider selling Sri Lanka crafts, or items that are native to Sri Lanka. Those are unique and people will be more likely to buy.
Also, look at what your competitors in Sri Lanka are selling. You will have to compete with them, so selling the same things won't work as well.
Most of all - do NOT drop ship items from China. There is a high failure rate in doing this, and you will put yourself out of business quickly.
Own all of the items you sell.
And check out the seller's school someone posted above. You will need to learn HOW to sell before worrying about WHAT you sell.
I wish you good luck.

Hey Sparky-
I'm noticing more and more of the drop shippers are disappearing. As I stated with another poster here, I think China may be fed up with all the demerits and INR claims, not to mention many are livid about having to use Speed pak for shipping.
Hope you had a great holiday.

Drop shipping is a self- defeating endeavor. When you drop ship, you are putting your business and reputation into the hands of a bigger conglomeration that couldn't care less if you sink or swim.
And a quick look of the boards will convince every one, that not only is drop shipping a bad selling idea, buying from a drop shipper is equally as problematic.
Some sellers make it work, but is it worth it?

Yes.. that's particularly why I don't want Gesamar0 and other first- time sellers to fall into that trap.
It is tempting to do because the stock is there and ready to sell. But, the shipper needs to ship it in order for it to work.
If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

list as my first item?
Butterflies and Rainbows or whatever else you may want to get rid of in your house.

Why do you ask us? How would we know?
List something that you can afford to lose money on.

Since you have no feedback yet and are a new user, you will attract only scammers if you try to sell any high value items. I suggest starting with 5-10 dollar items. Start small and work your way up.

hello,
Your question is not clear, ask clearly what you want to know here😊
This is not where you come to learn how to start selling - this is where you come to ask questions related to a specific issue you may be having.
To the right of this board there are at least 5 links to click on to learn for yourself - then you can come back here to clarify any thing you may not understand.
No seller here has the time nor inclination to hold your hand throughout the entire 'how to sell' process.
