Hey all, just wanting to seek advice on how to get more views on my storefront and listings?

Thank you

Hmmm ... used clothing .... lots and lots of competition ... some thoughts ...

  1. Have free shipping.
  2. Put things on sale ... just taking $5 off tends to boost traffic.
  3. Use promoted listings (although, I personally haven't seen much of a difference).
  4. Did I mention free shipping?
  5. eBay says that they will boost you in search results if you provide 60-day returns, and I'm pretty sure that they will boost you also for free returns (I don't do either, but that's my understanding).

I hate promoted listings. They show up multiple times on my mobile app and I think they're spam.

While it won't help with views, I wouldn't even consider buying or selling used clothing without measurements.

Clothes is really oversaturated and I know - that's what I primarily sell - but use the first 4 words in the title for the most important keywords - ex. Gap Sweater Large Green. Think of how a buyer will search -

Green sweater size Large - they may or may not be looking for brand specific - but I do include brand as 1 of my 4 main keywords. Women's, fabric, ect are all descriptive words that can be put later in the title - as you are already listing in the women's sweater category - so when a buyer uses the filter women's - your item will already be brought up.

Check to see what similar completed listings have sold for - that's the most important step as just looking at what someone is listing at doesn't show the true value of what buyer's think that item is worth.

You get a bounce for free shipping - but in clothing - I've sold just as many if not more items with shipping than if I raise my price and include shipping. You get a nudge for offering returns - the longer the better - but with clothes 30 days is more than enough time - especially used clothing.

Join the Global shipping program - you may not get many sales overseas because of the postal costs - but it does give you a bump in visibility.

Try listing or editing your listings everyday - this used to work and increase sales - but I haven't noticed it working lately - but I still do it. Let Ebay know you are working on your listings and you just don't throw them up there and let them sit - plus if someone is interested in a new listing - they may check your other older items and find something they like.
