missing info on my listing

I have an item for sale, I listed a buy it now amount...but it doesn't appear on the public ad, I've checked it on my listing thru my items for sale, there it shows up, I've got someone ready to buy my item at the buy it now amount, but they can't see it on the ad..any ideas?

Which item?

I ask because, in some categories, the Buy It Now option disappears once there is a bid, and the auction then proceeds as if the BIN had never been available.

You have 2 items for sale. The saddle has buy now.  The camcorder has a bid. When a bid is placed the buy now goes away.  Is your interested buyer the one that placed a bid?  If their intention was to buy it now then THEY messed up your listing by starting it out as an auction. Now you must cancel their bid and end the listing and relist it with a buy now fixed price listing and not offer an auction price.

Why would they cancel their bid?  I think the potential buyer is trying to game the system.  They place an opening bid to lock out the chance another person will click BIN.  This is one of the sneakiest things shrewd buyers pull often.  They essentially close down your BIN and then contact the unsuspecting seller stating they made a mistake and could you please change the way you do business for me.  lol   I've seen this dozens of times over the years and always reply that auctions run their full time and do not get shut down.
