Used and over priced.  neutral

- re Electrical Relay OMRON 12088567 Fog Light Fuel Pump Headlight Compressor, listed as used, tested and free shipping.

i guess another buyer expectation of free item?

The buyer never said anything about expecting it to be new. He said he received a dirty (not cleaned) relay. I am going out on the limb here and explaining why the buyer left neutral. You said clean so the buyer paid a higher price thinking it would be clean. If you listed it cheaper as used and not clean the buyer would have had less expectations on his purchase. Wording in a description and the asking price matching makes all the difference.

you would be going out on the wrong limb then with your above observations ... the neutral you are looking at is not the quoted one at beginning of thread.

@dasarock

Which also had me confused.  You said it was on your account, so unless you are talking about another account that you sell with, not the one you are posting with, I completely understand @coolections  comment.

You did something similar on another thread where you posted about your lack of sales when this account doesn't reflect what you stated on the other thread.

So are you posting about this account or another you prefer not to share?  Your right of course, but it does add to the confusion if you don't state that.

Just tagging - but people are not paying attention - the OP has multiple relays listed and has sold 7 in the past 90 days. The neutral we see on his feedback is for a completely different relay - not the relay the OP stated in the first post.

His usage of lack of sales was not referring to no sales but that his sales were not the amt of sales he is previously used to.

People do need to pay more attention - and I've done it myself - quickly scanned something and replied without assessing the entire situation.

@tunicaslot

I paid attention. He said he laughed at a buyer's comment who gave a neutral who purchased a relay that was not described correctly.  His feedback shows ONE neural feedback saying the relay was not described correctly. He never mentioned he has sold TWO relays that BOTH got neutrals basically for the same thing. IMO this is a good example of why feedback should not be allowed to be removed. We should go through the OP's selling history and figure it all out before replying ?

cool - how much selling history is there - I click on the neutrals and negs at the tops and I can see just those so I don't have to go through pages of positive feedback looking for them.

I really don't want to be going back and forth with you - We see things differently for sure and so be it.

Or you'll sometimes get feedback from buyers  who assume this section is for communicating with the seller .  I received a feedback comment once that said '' It says you don't ship to Canada ''  🙂   Tulips

Yes, I also love the ones who think they are addressing eBay with their rant.

I remember when a seller got negged.

The buyer was delighted with her dress, but she negged the seller because her friend didn't like the dress.Smiley Indifferent

Her friend didn't like the dress ? so she negged the seller ? ROFL !  boy that's nuts . Reminds me of the day that I had to actually argue with two full grown men [ brothers]   about rock music . They both were totally  convinced that nobody ever listened to the lyrics no matter what song  . When I asked them how were people able to sing along  with their favorite songs ?   I got crickets . For awhile I thought I was all alone in the twilight zone . Tulips

The seller came here to the boards.

The buyer actually stated in the neg feedback that she loved the dress but her friend didn't like it.

And ebay wouldn't remove the neg even though it was clearly unjustified...

one thing i've found that i can trust from c/s ...

...if you call and don't get what you consider a 'right' or 'fair' resolution, 9 out of 10 times you can call back and speak with another repr who will 'interpret' differently.  but you may need to call back ALL 10 times to find the one that will help ... lol

And that's where I have a problem - all CS should know exactly how to handle and respond to the situation and know what applies and doesn't apply to the policy or rule. There should be no need to continue to call back.

Now that is really odd.  When I look at the OP's sold items, I see 90.  28 of those sales being in June.

Different relay or not, the neutral the Op describes does not show on their FB.  I do understand now that the OP got the FB removed.  I did overlook that part of post #10.

You are correct, not on this thread, but I did say that it was on another thread, they complained about only 1-2 GTC sales per week.  According to their sold items, all their sales come from GTC.

Thank you for your concern.

While there have been many times over the years that I've had to call Ebay more than one time to get a matter resolved due to getting an ill-trained CSR the first time out.  The vast majority of the time I've only had to call back a second time to get to someone that would and could resolve my issue.  It is rare that I've had to go beyond that.  But there has certainly been a couple times where I've had to go to call number three.

It isn't however something that should happen at all.  Since calling the call center takes a big chunk of time trying to explain, re-explain and re-explain again what the problem at hand is, one would think the CSRs would be trained enough to know what needs to be done, but sadly too often they don't.

And what really gets me is when I have to direct them to a certain policy that is published so they can learn about what I'm talking about and to provide me the service I need that is covered in the policy I've directed them to.  Now that is annoying.  Smiley Mad
