Hello,
Day 31 a buyer left negative feedback (the first) without giving me details, without contacting me before, saying only: bad product I want refund.
(the article has a symbolic value, is new and sealed, will have a value more in the point of view of collecting) we are talking about € 10.
However I asked why not contact me before, what happened and why that behavior.
The answer arrived today, "it was a Christmas gift, arrived after day 20 (day stipulated by ebay) had to buy another gift, give me the money and I change the opinion."
The buyer could have contacted me before, and give me a thousand excuses, but in this case it seems clear to me a duress for 10 €, not the value but the attitude that disappoints me, who to proceed? already reported to ebay, and yet thinking what kind of feedback i can leave, and if i do what he asks me
(he brought the item 13th december, after see the traking number i saw that the item only left my country between 18/20th december, in this time of the year its normal, and even with an inquiry the services will say the same, to much work, etc)
He got the item even (i not sure) after christmas but wants the item and the refund, just because arrived after day 20th the expected day

give me the money and I change the opinion.
OK - if he wrote that in an eBay message to you, you can report that as Feedback Manipulation (or try Feedback Extortion if you get a less experienced customer service rep - pull up both policies to have at your fingertips when you call)
That used to be and still should be grounds for feedback removal and also is a severe enough policy violation that eBay will sanction the buyer and if he's been reported for this before, may suspend him.
yet thinking what kind of feedback i can leave
If you're thinking about what feedback to write in the buyer's profile, forget it - anything less than glowing thanks is removable if the buyer complains to eBay about it.
On the other hand, if you're thinking about what REPLY to leave, try this:
Buyer attempted to extort $ from me in exchange for revising his review.

I would ask on one of the European boards...........things make work differently there...... If he hasn't filed a case, you don't have to do anything, but you end up with the neg........

Good advice you gave to the OP. However, I would be concerned about the OP leaving a reply to that neg before he/she contacts eBay to see if he/she can first get that feedback removed.

Good point. There's no deadline to reply to feedback. You can reply years later, if you want. Same with follow-ups.
I don't know if replying to a neg has any effect on its removability but since there's no rush to reply, it can't hurt unless it's something really urgent like an accusation of fraud or theft.

I have not done anything yet, i opened two complaints to ebay (one for feedback other for unreasonable demands)
will wait for the ebay act and tell me what to do, i fell this is feedback manipulation, even he is got a point in the delivered time issue, that for the time of the year is "normal", lack of coherence and common sense.
tks for all the opinions, where very important they gave me relief, and i didn't rush nothing, happy new year one more time many many tks

IMO, I would not want my reputation marred by an illogical dolt. Furthermore, and regardless of popular belief, I feel the algorithm does take feedback into consideration in terms of visibility.
I would fight to get that feedback removed. It seems you did your job well but the buyer failed to do their due-diligence to ensure the item would arrive in time. I doubt it was a Christmas gift, and using “late delivery” as leverage to score a freebie.
No courier is going to “guarantee” an ETA—especially that close to Christmas, unless they paid for expedited shipping.
“Give me money and I’ll change my opinion” is feedback extortion and TOS violation. I would try and have it removed before responding to it.
I had a buyer try something similar. She opened an INAD return case because she didn’t like the color, then asked for a $30 partial refund “ugly color, refund half and I will keep or else it gets returned.”
The feedback was removed and the return was closed upon calling.
I would also stop communicating with the buyer unless it’s to say, “I’m sorry you’re unhappy, please return for a full refund. Have a nice day :)”
Save any rude/threatening messages received so that support can review it.
Sorry you had to deal with this difficult customer, hope everything works out in your favor.

Hello,
it has been several days since the denunciations and so far not even a response from Ebay, I think I will keep that negative feedback because I will not give in to blackmail, frustrating is that ebay itself does not act.
Meanwhile I also sent messages to the buyer quite educated and appealed for the resolution of the problem, i was completely ignored so far.
Is frustrating to see that these situations are clear and there is no defense of the seller, is there any place where we can expose this and that tell us concretely if they do something or not?!
