Hi Ebay gang, I've recently received a home occupancy permit which allows me to buy things wholesale. So I just purchased 2 cases of a toy that's estimated to be shipped to me end of Feb/March. If you click on my listing the estimated delivery date is Feb 16, fast and free, which obviously is not gonna happen. How do I change the estimated delivery date? TY...

Are you using the Quick listing tool or the Advanced, the latter will give you more options.
FYI - All that verbiage....some will take that as a challenge to mess with you. On the other hand it will scare aware some good buyers who don't want to end up with a seller who has "issues".

Hi, glad you stopped by. I noticed that your listing doesn't comply with Ebay's pre-order policy. Hate to see a seller run afoul of the rules and potentially get his listing shut down. Here is the link to the requirements:
https://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/pre-sale.html
Also, i noticed in your terms of sale, you state that you are not responsible for shipping issues once the package is posted. I'd recommend removing that sentence. If there are problems or damage, eBay does hold the seller responsible until the buyer has the item safely in hand. In the same vein, I'd also omit the sentence that states "Also the people that claim damage or pictures don't match, that's wrong. Every picture is authentic." Ebay guarantees virtually every sale for every buyer thru the MBG. Its terms trumps yours if a buyer has an issue.
Haven't found the answer to the handling time question yet. Working on it.

ty for the commentary but the buyers get away with murder, play games, win auctions then 30 seconds later say they can't pay, i have unpaid cases every week, ebay has no problem taking their money out of my paypal acct when necessary, they should take it out of the buyers and into mine. heck, they bought it. that would stop the madness. extremely frustrating. if you could find a way to fix my problem, that'd be great though.

in shipping options you can change the handling time. it’s the box either immediately above or below where you select shipping methods.
though you could really screw yourself if those toys don’t arrive in time. if i ordered something and then 30 days later the order got cancelled, i’d leave negative feedback.

Wait until the middle of March to list. Make sure you have the items and have inspected them to be sure they are as claimed.
Then you won't have to worry about all the stuff above.

Many features are unavailable or difficult to access when using the Quick version of the listing form.
When you decide to relist your item, click on "Sell simlar". If there's no link to the Advanced version in the upper-right corner of your Quick form, click on "Save and exit" at the bottom of your draft listing. In the upper-right corner of the next screen there's a link for the Advanced version of the listing form. After you click on that, you can re-open your draft and it will have the regular options including longer durations for fixed price listings. (Ignore eBay's pop-up comment about who should use the Advanced form.)
As others have noted, it wold be better for you to wait and list when you actually have the items or at least closer to your actual shipping date.
Your terms of service in your listings are so hostile that you are probably scaring off good bueyrs while the bad buyers just ignore it. And "Not responsible for what happens during shipping" is just plain untrue.

".... a home occupancy permit which allows me to buy things wholesale. "
Really? Wholesale with a home occupancy permit?
Does this mean you can't buy wholesale if your homeless?

Perhaps he means Home Occupation permit.
Which means that if your home is gainfully employed, you can buy wholesale.

Well, my home isn't gainfully employed. But the ants that got into the kitchen the other day certainly are. Does that count?
