ebay message glitch?

Yesterday I received a ebay email (legit) with a question from a member about one of my items. 

When I went to my ebay messages, the message does not show there.

I double checked the authenticity of the email.

I double checked my ebay message  was set to "all" or "from members" and "in box".

Anyone else have this happen to them?

I've not experienced what you describe... I received questions last week in both my messages and email.

Lately I've not been getting 'Sold' messages through eBay, though. They only come in emails.

I am thinking another glitch... 😑

I've had that happen a few times on my tablet. No message in the actual ebay messages, but I can see it in my notifications from the tablet. I can only read the message  when i click on the notification.  Next thing you know you can see it in the ebay messages again. I have no answers for you. Just another weird glitch I've experienced.

It hasn't happened recently but I've had offers come through but not appearing in 'my messages.'  I would have to access them through the notifications.

I always do a double check.

I check emails in ebay and then check emails in my inbox on my iPhone.

I do get a few "private" emails in this community post area.
