No, how the items were sourced has nothing to do with the category.

Many times there is not a perfect category but just get as close as you can. 

One thing to do is white the title first and there will be suggested categories listed when looking at the categories. Also when researching other sellers listings see what categories that they are using

Hi @ospreyoutdoors67 , no there isn't. It's pretty limited right now. If you read the eBay Live FAQs here, eBay says:

Currently, eBay Live events are focused on the following inventory categories: Collectibles e.g. Sports Trading cards, Collectible toys, Comics), and Luxury (e.g. luxury watches, handbags, and jewelry).
