This may be a really stupid question... but does the business loan from Ebay mean you have to sell on eBay ?

Loans are for SELLERS. I am sure EBAY will look at your sales history. Not like they are just handing out money.

The Ebay loan takes into account your selling history when giving you a loan. If you have a consistent amount of money coming in they will give you a loan that doesn't affect your credit history or is even show in your credit history. I just did it to pay off my credit cards and refinance. Yay

Sorry to say but I don't think you will qualify for any loan for quite some time😑

Like the other people have said, a loan would be based on your sales history, if you are looking for a loan through eBay.
However, I would discourage ANY seller from taking out a loan for several reasons.
1 Mainly because that is very poor business sense. There in almost never a good reason to borrow money to "expand" your business. Smart businesses expand when they have the capitol in hand, not when they think it's a smart time to do so. Borrowing money just leads to many problems and stress.
2 If you have decent credit, you can get a better rate/term from other banks.
3 I will stress AGAIN, borrowing money is generally a BAD idea. I know in today's world that doesn't make sense or seem like good advice. The old adage of the borrower is the lender's slave, still holds true today. One life event, one or two months of bad sales, and you are in real trouble. You can quickly end up in a financial "hole" you can't dig yourself out of.
I used to be the kind of person to borrow too. Haven't for several years now, and it's real freedom. Besides, most people don't realize what kind of "deals" you get when paying cash. The last vehicle I bought, cash, I got 3K off the sticker price. Would not have happened IF I would have been buying it through a loan.
