Is anyone else experiencing problems with eBay's Payout?? Last weeks sales showed pending Monday morning. By yesterday afternoon it changed and is now showing a message, "Preparing to send".
I've never seen this message or had it take two days to actually send the money. I've called eBay twice. To be fair, they've made a ticket and said they're keeping an eye on it; and they're hoping it's just a glitch. They suggested giving it a few more days, and to call them again Thursday after 3pm if it's still showing as 'preparing to send'.
I am not okay with it taking eBay a week to send my money; especially since it will be another few days before it even makes it into my bank account.

it's in ebay's best interests for it to stay in pending category for a few (3 or more) days since they draw interest on it (x's however many other payments they hold) = bigBUCKS$$$. (free income for them)
it doesn't make it right, just THEIR reality they force on sellers

Are we to assume you are in eBay's Managed Payments program? If so, as suggested, there is no incentive for eBay to expedite the process. When ebay initially was looking for volunteers for this payment plan they boasted a "daily payout" of your funds. They neglected to mention that they would not "clear" those funds for many days.
Since any seller that chooses to remain here will eventually be forced (aka enrolled) in this soon to be mandatory program, it really doesn't matter. They can take as long as they choose.

from what i remember of the initial releases on managed payments and ayden (sp?) ....
yes the did say daily payments ...
but they also said i believe a 4-5 business day "processing time" for ayden. as well as direct access to your bank accounts for the purpose of pulling fees, payments and misc. other as well as placing deposits. (or words to this effect).
all of that is the reason i am totally against managed payments. paypal works just fine for me. however i do believe that they (ebay and managed payments) now makes it very hard for a buyer to use paypal as a means of paying. i know that i am reading accounts of purchases being drawn from paypal via buyer's bank accounts. yes i know all about the paypal cash plus account requirements. but not all buyers do. nor even all sellers. and this could well be a part of the reason that purchases are slowing also. if a buyer gets a bad experience through paypal (including NSF fees from their banks) it makes them leering of repeating that process again

The day that MP becomes mandatory for all sellers will be my last day on eBay. They seem unable to manage their own site, and I certainly don't trust them to manage my revenue or payments.

Other sites that use Adyen start the transfer one day, and the next day it's in the bank. It's usually set up for a weekly deposit, but you can change it to whenever you want.
