eBay Changes Slow Sales Significantly

Anyone else experience sales slowing way down??  

June '22 my sales slowed way down and again now in Oct. to nearly nothing.

My pricing is researched and competitive. 

Since June I have changed to accepting returns and ship the 1st business day after order placed.

Additionally reduced prices in some cases where recommended "eyes on your....".

I've also used the additional fee to boost sales on some items.

Sales have not returned to pre-June levels.

Do others have any additional suggestions or is there now a better platform???

Same. November was my best month last year. This year has been slower than last, but the last few months even more so. Items I had a lot of watchers on that I relisted hardly have views. I expect things to be slow because of inflation but if things don't pick up I might have to bail. Even sourcing has gotten harder, I found a great item yesterday but lately that's rare. I think shipping is killing my sales too, being on the West Coast puts me at an disadvantage. Even a 2 lb. package costs $13.46 to ship back East. I find myself lowering my shipping on some items, sometimes it helps sometimes not. 

It's just a hobby for me but if it's not profitable I can make better use of my time. 🤔

Yep, and for a very long time. Started in 2017 for my stores. Sells are non-existent for 1 store for 3 months.

With prices for EVERYTHING up over 10% since June, many stopped buying frivolous items they can no longer afford. Don't expect sales to pick up anytime soon. The good news it looks if the inflation has leveled out and eventually people will get used to the new prices.

The buyer may get use to the new prices but if they don't have the extra money to buy said items at the higher prices means: They still wont be buying because they don't have the extra money anymore......
