eBay Authentication is horrible

I tried to sell my Supreme clothing (2x) both of which were purchased directly from Supreme website.

Never worn. I took dozens of pictures, then carefully folded and placed in large bag for extra protection during shipping. Both times, the Authentication FAILED. I am seriously getting frustrated with these so called "Authenticators", do they even know what they are doing?

Another thing, I once purchased a Jordan shoe from Ebay with Authentication Guaranteed, but when the shoe arrived I immediately noticed the difference in color. One pair is clearly faded in color. How is it possible this shoe passed Authentication?

I just don't get it.. why has eBay gone down hill so much? Anyone have similar experience they want to share?

I can only respond to "why has eBay gone down hill so much?"

Trying to do too much, too quickly. Too many changes. No testing.

Honestly, if a group of hackers wanted to destroy eBay, they couldn't do a better job than eBay is doing themselves, internally, with their "strategic" decisions.

Re: eBay Authentication is horrible

sorry for your troubles....

I have to say it may be self inflicted...

the tags clearly says "Made in Canada"

yet your Item Specific clearly state "Made in China"

also, not being familiar with the technique, why is the "Supreme" Orange logo plastered all over the pictures (excluding the 'last' 3), and why the last picture of 5 items?

not being judgemental, just curious (and we have seen authenticity failed due to the smallest error in the listing (not the product)...

@flossy_eaday

Supreme is so highly faked. Too late to go back to the Supreme website for a refund? 🤔

Re: eBay Authentication is horrible

eBay authenticators dont know what they’re doing most of the time. eBay needs to fire a lot of the employees and hire people who actually know how to authenticate items
