Has anyone, including yourself, told you that you have a hoarding problem JUST because you keep buying inventory despite having more than you'll list in a hundred years? 😂

My stuff is all pretty small (and mostly not kept at home, here it's just stamps and postcards). But I'm tripping over boxes of bubble mailers and all sorts of priority mailing supplies as I go about the house. There's always a bin of stuff that's "in process" because I take pictures at home, and then return it to the appropriate bin in the store.
But there's a big difference between having 8000 coins, stamps and postcards, and 8000 articles of clothing, books, or vintage toys... My house is only 948 square feet and the basement is used for our storage, not for eBay stuff.

Right before my accident I inventoried and completely organized my ebay stock.
My items are in 10 bins/cabinets numbered "1" through "0" according to the last digit of the item number.
It's a good thing I did this otherwise my best friend/caretaker would not be able to help me run my ebay business from my bed.

I don't think we can be friends any more. LOL
Wow. Impressive. Your shipping boxes/organization. Ours is always a mess as I am always grabbing a box that does not fit, plunking it done and on the hunt for the next box. Original non-fit box never makes it back to where it was originally - that would be too easy! lol
We have about 2700 sf warehouse space and the garage overheads for a pallet to be dropped off are on the side - we have shelving on 3 walls and hand racks on the far left with folding tables that we use for prep, pix, packing and shipping. Similar style shelving in the basement and garage. Feel like I am always walking on packing peanuts.
@inhawaii - You are really neat and tidy. I need to spend a weekend or two just organizing and finding stuffs. Need to do inventory really soon also.
@keziak - no matter how much space you have - you will always need more, it seems.
And I agree about securing inventory for the "right" price when the time presents itself. But it can be a challenge to stay atop of the listing, sorting process. Good luck! (I am certain there is an e-Bay Hoarder's ANON group in your area or close by!)

That would mean being able to open the door to my girl's room. Kidding! I can open the door, just barely get in there though...

I didn't know about your accident, I have not been reading the board much in a while. An uncomfortable session with my therapist made me want to find out if it's just me or one of those online seller things. It sounds like you had quite a serious accident. I hope your recovery is going well. best wishes

My brain zoned out at 1AM and I read "do you need your own reality show?"
And I thought: Why yes, I do need my own reality show!
I'll call it "Panda's Mishaps" featuring: The INAD'ers, Ebay Phone Support, and the laptop

Yes, please lighten up and don't be rude. Thank you.

Dear katzrul15,
Based on the pictures you provided, your application to appear on Hoarders has been denied.
WAY TOO NEAT AND CLEAN! 😃

That's so neat it almost makes me angry!!! Good for you, though, because of the accident, I'm sure it has helped out immensely.
Every time I read a post mentioning your accident, I start guessing as to what happened to you. At first I guessed a shark attack, but then switched to being hit by a car on a bicycle. So glad you are improving!!.

Thank you for that..

I finally had enough time to come up with a answer.
I injured my leg while rescuing 27 kids from a burning school bus.
That's much less embarrassing than what really happened. 😉
Thanks for the well wishes!

Its cool as long as you have the space for it. You can never have too much inventory in my opinion. Space is a problem for many though. I didnt have much space with my last apartment. But now I'm in a house and have close to an extra 2K square feet at my disposal, so might as well make use of it.
The biggest problem for me is keeping track of so much inventory. I have thousands of movies, cds, games, etc.

Taking down cabinets now in my three car garage because it's full to the rafters and I need a new rack for the snow gear I've been hoarding in the attic since last winter. I think I may have a problem..LOL
