If you read what I wrote, I specifically said I was 'Not accusing you of saying it'.

People feel abused by Ebay because of how Ebay treats them. They come here and they get made fun of and mocked, argued with.

I was attempting to have a dialog with you about that. It's not important. You don't care, no problem. Have a nice evening.

You read too much between the lines that just are not there.

Re: disgusted with eBay

So true and yet if you have a problem, it is so difficult to get a person on the phone that understands, speaks English as their first language or without the hour plus wait on hold. UGH!!!

Re: disgusted with eBay

You said that perfectly well! Not everyone leaving will come back, sometime it's

principles.

The MP is structured for high volume sellers. the high volume sellers, don't really have time to see what Ebay's doing. All they're doing is selling.

I looked at one on youtube and the seller didn't even notice that Ebay was charging a FVF on the taxes that they collect on the sellers behalf. She never even mentioned that the FVF for selling increased also

My FVF went from 9 or 10% to 14%. The high volume sellers who does 1 day shipping and 30-60 day returns do get a discount, but I suppose that they might get a lower FVF (I hope).

I didn't have a problem with MP and waiting for the funds to clear, that's unecessary, but I do see a bigger problem with MP, that will arise and make things harder for low volume sellers, like myself.

Remember the FVF in MP includes the money processing fee of 2.9% that you use to pay to PP.  They just put everything into one Simplified fee.

Re: disgusted with eBay

The 'proof' is what e-bay actually did to me PERSONALLY as I have pointed out in numerous posts.  You know, as well as everyone else, that there is NO transparency within e-bay.  That is how they get away with their bump-up fee structure and other trickery.  So what's to prove?

Whenever I post here you interject things that are incorrect....such as metrics.  I had two scammers in the past year and NOT 10 so I do not know where you are getting your numbers from.  However, it is a total lie.

You might also be interested to know that right after I closed my store and discontinued selling they reinstated my "Top Seller" status and corrected my seller dashboard to where it should have been in the first place.

TOO LITTLE.....TOO LATE.

On a positive note:  several of my fantastic repeat buyers have contacted me so that I will not be losing them.

As an eye-opener, just check out my excellent feedback in the past year alone.  I challenge anyone to beat it.

Can I make a guess?  Your reply to this will probably be "e-bay does not take feedback into consideration".....another fallacy.

Re: disgusted with eBay

When will you be taking down your listings? Strange that you are still listing - you’ve been”thru” for months.

Yep, the OP has 57 listings running.

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

Re: disgusted with eBay

I don't sell a lot on here.  I have been selling off my guitars lately and this new payout "scam" is just too much.  Fees are fees, i get that.  You want to use the service, here are the fees.  Before, after I got paid with Paypal, i would pay to print the shipping label, then deposit the rest to my checking and actually have it the next day or day after.  This managed payments system is just a slap in the face.   I am going to try Reverb and see if that works out any better.

Reverb has managed payments, just like Ebay, Etsy, Amazon, Mercari and Poshmark.

Re: disgusted with eBay

I left 3 months ago and may not return either, but if I do at all it will be with no more than 10 items. This is after 7 years of decent sales, but later in 2020, sales dropped off a cliff and never returned.

They don't care about average sellers, just the large ones. They make most of their $ on ads, not sales.

It's too bad. There is absolutely NO balance on here. Esales are hard enough because of the shipping costs and all the fraud that can happen. Why make it even more difficult with all the nonsensical rules.

Its going to get more restrictive and difficult to sell in the years to come as more buyers land in permanent poverty because of the hyper inflation and loss of jobs. Many will never recover, that is a fact. So, in order to compensate, they will resort to crime and fraud... and YOU will be the target!

Re: disgusted with eBay

Yep, that is how these corporations do it.. they have made you a quasi-employee with NONE of the benefits that an employee gets. You are a contractor. It is borderline illegal in some cases. Not here on eBay but with Amazon, Postmates and many others it is. They skirt that moveable line between employee and contractor.

If you don't like it, you can always leave. BUT - wait until the new global reset happens. 20 years from now, you will NEVER be able to leave.
