customer service

Anyone else have difficulty with multiple customer service sectors?  I couldn't upload tracking numbers after combining shipping for a buyer.  Zero help from tech support, zero resolution from the sellers unit.  I have lost all my views and my sales have gone to virtually nothing.  I've been met with hostility, contempt and condescension.   Would really love some helpful positive suggestions - I'm willing to work with ebay if someone would actually help me.

Thanks in advance.

Re: customer service

There's no option in your sold listings list for "add tracking"?

Re: customer service

yes, but there was a glitch and I contacted customer support immediately but got nowhere.  I'm now looking for positive helpful solutions in navigating ebay customer service to get all this resolved.

Re: customer service

I rarely use the "add tracking", but have never had a glitch.
You might just sign off ebay and reboot...sometimes it's a simple solution.

Re: customer service

unfortunately that hasn't been a solution.  if you have any suggestions about whom to contact to deal with the now multiple customer service issues, I would appreciate it.

Re: customer service

All things being equal, it's best to call during daylight...you're more apt to get a U.S. rep who won't have to interpret your problem.

Re: customer service

Yes, we hear of problems with the customer service center all the time. The outsourced customer service is notorious for not being helpful, hanging up on callers, saying anything to shorten a call, making promises not kept, transferring the caller to multiple extensions without resolution, and worst of all, giving incorrect and/or damaging advice. I avoid calling them but come to the forum for help instead. What the other poster advised, waiting til morning to call to increase your chances of reaching the US-based CSR (who can actually address your concerns), is absolutely the best advice. Sorry to hear your frustrations and hoping they are resolved to your satisfaction soon.

Thanks.

Be courteous, speak calmly, be patient, do not waste time complaining about reps you have spoken with previously.
