I would like community give me an advise. The story was:
I sold one note very rare with many bids, finally one buyer won with high prices. He wanted me sent out to him by 3 day service with UPS. After recieved item..He said he wants return because Item damagd outside...??
1--My item in my envelope was inside UPS envelope..so if it was damaged, the cause must come from UPS.
2---My item was grading by a grading company with full decription on grading company tag. And in my description I carefully mention bidders:"" No return if the problem was not from me and sell as it...!!
3--For any reason buyer changed his mind and want return with his own idears, the Ebay tell me agree for return...?? even when I did answer the buyer No Return..? Now I can't find back my answer to buyer thru Ebay maibox..?? then Paypal freed my payment..???
In this case, what I can do, I am not a real seller so I fully comfuse. Please Help...THanks

Hopefully you bought insurance for the item. If not then the Post Office is not responsible.
If not then ebay's policy trumps yours. No returns is for remorse only. If he files SNAD, then you take returns per ebay's policy.

The post office is not responsible, whether the OP paid for extra insurance or not.
It was sent through UPS.

Not sure I understand.
Not that familiar with UPS. I prefer Fed Ex.
But if you buy insurance and the item is caught in machinery or dropped, then you are not covered?

The OP's listing does mention the missing pieces and markings on the note. This sounds more like a remorse situation. The note is in a sealed holder from the grading co., so I doubt damage in transit.
Can the OP not fight this?

Ask for pictures of packaging and more specifics regarding damage. Was the item damaged due to package being mangled, or was the package intact upon receipt. You need these answers before you decide how to proceed.
If package was damaged by UPS, file a claim with UPS (hopefully you had insurance), they will go pickup, inspect the item, and process the claim if they were at fault.
As far as the refund being sent to buyer already, did you not respond to the SNAD opened by the buyer? You only have a certain amount of time to respond to these cases, and you have to stay on top of it, or eBay will automatically side with the Buyer.

If he files SNAD, you either refund him upon return or ebay will step in and do it for you and that will result in a defect.

Sounds like a staright up scam to me.
New seller selling high dollar item, has no idea how to protect themselves against a claim, or how hopeless it is to try to defend themselves against a scammer. I think they are doomed no matter what they do.
If they say return for refund, the buyer will send back something other than what they purchased. If they do nothing, the buyer will file a claim and ebay will give the buyer their money back out of the OP's account.
The best the OP can do is ask for pictures of the damage so they can file a claim with UPS and hope that the buy-uh-scammer goes away.
OP, just ask for pics - do NOT defend your item, packing or listing. Say as little as possible because a good scammer will use every word against you later when they try to wear you down into giving them a freebie.

Right..but all information are in grading tag (missing pieces... dirt or damage..etc...)
generally, it is not my mistakes.......
buyer had 7 days to view the item before he made decision...all information on public eyes...I did not cheat anything.. buyer can make up story to return....Do I win this case if buyer keeps on claiming with ebay...?
