Answering buyers questions

When I try to answer a buyer's question about my item, I get a popup that says the question is over 30 days old and questions over 30 day sold cannot be answered. These are 2 brand new questions. What can I do to be able to answer a buyer's question?...

My sales always tank towards middle of month. Especially high dollar.

Always pick up at very end or beginning of new month. They finally get social security, dividends, salaries etc. Don't get discouraged.
