Items Listed for Sale Unavailable When Searched with Keywords or Item Numbers

Has any seller experienced a problem with listings ending up in limbo and unavailable in buyer searches even though eBay charged to list them and they have item numbers?

I can understand ebay sending me a reminder if I watched a item...
