IT can be very frustrating I just had a buyer leave negative feedback on an Item the shippers broke I refunded him completely and he was still able leave negative feedback. I still have not gotten a refund from the shippers even though it was insured. I tried to get them to remove the negative feedback and have had no Luck. I had 100% positive before that. I have done this for 15 years. All you can do is let the feedback stay until it expires in a year . I have done this about 10 different times Totally does not seem right but that is how it works. Anyone have any comments

Unfortunately, if a feedback doesn’t violate policy, it’s difficult to get it removed.
These things happen. My last negative on eBay was because the buyer didn’t like the color of the dress when she received it. I got a recent negative feedback as an Uber driver for “poor road condition”. WHAT?

I would not worry about the neg, it does not hurt you.
As far as the "insurance" if it is USPS they basically have shut down the insurance claims paying department some time ago however the insurance premium receiving department is still active.

This doesn't surprise me in the slightest. I see the absolute dumbest feedback on various sites and wonder have people always been this stupid...then I realise that yes, they have, this is just a new application.
Better to cool down a little, though, before responding.

Te replies you left to the negative feedback is worse then the feedback from the buyers.

Negative feedback gives you an opportunity to respond in a positive way that benefits you. View it as the glass is half full. If you respond poorly to negative feedback, this is the one time a double negative is not a positive. If you send an item and it gets broken in transit, apologize and say "you will learn from this and do a better job packing to ensure it doesn't happen again"

Your negative was probably earned. Orders damaged in shipping are usually the result of improper packaging by the seller. Many of us have experienced the same situation at some point in selling.
Your responses to your negatives are worse than the negatives and are more likely to motivate someone who reads your feedback to proceed to some other seller.

It happens, I've gotten a negative after giving a refund and apologizing, but I understand it was still a negative experience for my buyer. As others have mentioned, those follow-ups will do you no good. They will appear to future buyers that if a problem arises, you will claim it's not your problem, but look how it hurt me--with no mention of how it inconvenienced your buyer.

I've received neg feedback and it hasn't hurt me at all. How you reply to the feedback is more important than the feedback itself. I read your replies and saw you made an attempt to make things right and that's as good as a positive... just retain from whining about it
