I haven’t sold anything on eBay in four days and with 470 listings that’s very weird and unheard of for me. They need to fix whatever’s going on with fuse I’m very much over it. It’s gotta be hurting their money as well

Not that there aren't some glitches, but for the most part it is just ebay manipulating the search results.   This hurts some sellers, but is a windfall for others, and of course frustrates buyers.

It's not you it's EVERYBODY! A bad economy + useless eBay updates = bad sales for everyone! My sales are the worst they'be been since 2015 (Gross profit down 50% for an average July) and I do this for a living!

...people (parents) are facing somewhat spending for kids being back to schools very soon...so no budgets for individual pleasures...

...agreed with all the above that inflation is taking place now on our economy...on top of that is eBay's tech. matters...for an example, when I searched for miniature flags, only few showed up with 2 flags and a base...I needed at least a dozen for each kind, and definitely don't need the base...sorry, I ended up buying from Amazon...

...whom in control of eBay's IT team needs to resign...

Sorry to say but Ebay cannot force anyone to purchase your stuff. You have to wait it out for a buyer to come along. In the event you think Ebay is hiding something, I looked at a few of your listings and they are visible.

Traditionally people have been broke the last day of the month and shop little but with inflation now it's the whole last week of the month.

@mandisattictoyz

Now what did your July sales look like in 2019 ? In 2018?

I prefer to overlook 2020 and 2021 as outliers due to the pandemic surge in online shopping which is now definitely over.

AZ lost money in the first quarter of 2022 for example (eBay didn't).

There is still a lot of inflation, although gas prices are dropping rapidly since Biden opened US reserves.

But that's worldwide. Here in Canada, gas dropped from $2.249 a litre to only $1.999 a litre over the past fortnight. (there are 3,78 litres in a US gallon)

For the last 4 years it was consistent and then poof, last 6 days it dropped 50%.  This isn’t a coincidence, and this doesn’t just happen like it did overnight.
