my listing is for 50 brown feathers , my description states for sale 50 brown feathers  received from eBay  the following additional information is required on your item  COLOR,  WHAT IS THE ITEM WE HAVE HUNDREDS OF THESE AMPLE INFO IS ON ARE WHY AM I REQUIRED TO DO IT 3 TIMES ON EACH LISTING ??????

eBay item specifics requirements are now on steroids - 😀

Some of the new item specific requirements are nothing more than repeats of what you already fill out when you list your item.  The new item specific requirements have become a running joke and frustrating waste of time for many sellers.  

In addition to what is stated in the title and stated in the description. I have several listings whose item specifics area now contain multiple repeats.  (color 3 times, size 3 times, pattern 2 times, is this a Bundle - NO, and Bundle Description - arrrgh!!!  I already correctly chose NO this is not a bundle, so why does eBay insist I need to fill in something in that bundle box specific that does not apply to my listing.  (rant over).

Why?

Because they think that it aids in the search by having that info in "item specifics".

Does it?

I do not know.
