I am really **bleep**.  I listed a knock off purse but looked at the stupid rules before i did.  rules state In order to list you need to clearly say KNOCK OFF IN THE TITLE.  I did this and ebay cancelled the listing and restricted me from selling for 3 days!!!!    I called them and of course got no where.  NOT TO MENTION THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF KNOCK OFF PURSES ON HERE.   I am a target of ebays controlling system.

I find loads of information here, but also in the Help & Contact pages. The first sentence (I simply searched 'counterfeit items') says: We don't allow counterfeit items or unauthorized copies to be listed on eBay. They go into lots of detail... more info than you were even looking for.

DO NOT relist the item... you might find yourself banned from selling all together.

Can you do a screen shot of the place where it says you can list but you need to clearly say knock off in the title?

I find that very interesting, because have always been informed by eBay that knockoffs, counterfeits, copies etc cannot be listed and sold on eBay.

I thought same. So I read all the way through... again. I don't find any such verbiage at all. I'd like a screen shot, too.

Knock off meaning counterfeit or replica of a name brand desinger is not allowed on any market place, because it's against the law. 

You have to make sure that you don't try to sell any desinger counterfeit because the three day was very  lenient, next time might be more severe.

Yes you do have other sellers selling them, but they won't tell on themselves, they would only push that button you.

That reminds me of years ago, I bought a lot of tylenol (not the reg. pain tablets). I had gotten at a great price.  When I listed on Ebay when I received it from the Ebay seller, it was immediately tken down. I was told it wasn't allowed, also the pin hole glasses, that i purchased on Ebay also, it was taken down.

When you see something listed that you know is not supposed to be listed, you can report the listing.

Where did you read this, not on Ebay.

Where in the world did you get that idea? Do the words copyright infringement mean anything to you? Knock off purses are made by slave labor children in third world countries.

yes it was in the message that they sent me.   doesn't matter what it said anyway.  there are hundreds of knock off purses on ebay right now.  not to mention repro dolls and doll clothes and many other things.

THERE ARE TOO MANY TOO REPORT.  I REPORTED SOME BUT THEY ARE STILL THERE.  Look up Designer Inspired purse.  Same as a knock off.

And did your fake knock off purse have the designer name on it? Thats a whole lot different than a designer inspired purse with no brand name, than trying to fool people with a cheap,knock off, designer bag.Just because you said in the listing that it was a knock off,doesnt make it legal to sell here, or anywhere.
