Zero Views?

Numerous of my listings lately are showing zero views even after days or nearly a week. Some of these items are big brand names that shouldn't have no views for this period of time to have elapsed. I've never seen this before. I know about the change to views on ebay but I honestly do not see a good reason for this. Some of the items with zero views are hot items with great sell through. I remember reading that making a quick revision to the title could reverse this issue but even after having done this to said listings no change in views. Also ended 3 zero view listings and relisted later in day. All 3 still are without views. Its super odd and alarming. Are people not viewing these items of mine or is the view counter not operating correctly. Other items listed at the same times do have views so..?

Thanks

Zero Views?

Check ebay update, now views set to 30 days view real potential buyer only, Bots are now blocked. Doesn't matter I now get zero views item sold.

You seem to be selling consistently. Were your other items put into different categories?

Having a complete knowledge of business statistics may I suggest the K.I.S.S. method of business health and well being here on eBay for addressing your important concern.

The K.I.S.S. method also known as Keep It Simple Sweetie (or any expletive for the last S) will save you much heartache, frustration, confusion and grief.

In this case the K.I.S.S. method is to Focus on Only One matrix.

That matrix is SALES.  All the other information ( views, clicks, sell thru rate, etc is really meaningless)

When you just Focus on SALES you eliminate all your wasted energy worrying about all the bunk.

Hope this helps.

All the academics will poo poo what I just said but I guess they have to justify their "Expert" existence.

Zero Views?

Ebay switched over to a 30 day view of the listings recently rather than a perpetual count of views.  The perpetual counts were full of non buying computer generated fishing bots. An announcement was made by ebay saying that the view counter would adjust itself for some in a week or some a few weeks. In the meantime, nothing else had changed regarding your ability to be seen and to sell stuff. We had a good weekend for sales regardless of what  the view thingy is doing right now. Do not worry.

It is confusing.  We too have zero views on items that sold.  So very odd.

...I totally agree with you that K.I.S.S method...

...and I said it as it has been from the "ancient" time, "Keep It Simple Stupid"...I'm not afraid of the last word "Stupid" as I didn't intend to calling name to anyone...this is a quote, wisdom, or proverb so...keeping the authentic of the idea as it should be, no needed to substitute or change...just like history, we can't change or destroy it as it wasn't ours and, we can't like or dislike history either...history was there for us to learn from...

Zero Views?

...I remembered when I had have my Chanel listings before, Chanel Bleu De Chanel perfume for gentlemen caught so many views but barely made sales instead Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extrême was quickly sold out with very few viewers...

...with recently updates for listing category from eBay, viewing might be affected...

Well, four obvious possibilities are:

(a) your listings cannot be found in search

(b) eBay is preventing buyers from clicking on your listings

(c) eBay's "buy" button does not work

(d) eBay is not accurately counting or reporting views

(e) your items are not as desirable as you think they are

I checked (a) and (b) and (c) and I can find your listings in search and view them and click the Buy button.

And you should now be able to check (d) to see if your Napa Valley Wood Crate and  your Casio calculator have views or not.

If they don't, then (d) is a likely candidate. If they do, that would leave (e) as the most likely of those 5 choices.
