Hi I have been trying to refund an order via my debit card but it does not allow me. I have sufficient amount on my account. What could be a problem ? Thanks

You've posted on the US board. I'm not sure how it works for you, but is it the debit card that you have attached to pay seller fees? Sit tight and see if other posters can offer help...

@misiak199000000  I've seen multiple reports on the eBay UK community as well as across social media that there is a current glitch that may be impacting both processing refunds and requesting on demand payouts.

The key is to use a (BANK account) not a debit or charge card as your Payment method. Follow these Instructions to the letter..

1st. Click on the above link which should take you directly to your Seller Hub page. Or just go to your Seller Hub page.

1. On your Seller Hub page Go to the bottom of the page where it says "Selling Costs".

2. You will see "Payment method" in the box..

3. Just click on "Manage" . A new screen will appear so you can edit your "Payment Method". You might be prompted to sign back in to your eBay account)...

4. Click on  "Manage" again.

5. Make sure you use a (BANK account) NOT a Debit or Charge card as your "Payment" method. 

This is the ONLY thing that worked for me. I hope this information was helpful.

True, the thread is old but was still unresolved. I tried everything before finding the answer today. Just thought I'd share my findings.
