I have been here a while. I have never called in on an abusive return and had them close it. It doesn’t matter how absurd or obviously abusive the claim is, CS will not close it. A case maybe, not a return.
I have had multiple instances of returns opened for “doesn’t work” when the item was listed as “for parts not working”. I don’t know how they are even able to open that kind of return. Ebay refuses to do anything but allow the return to proceed. I have seen this exact situation probably five times.
Yesterday, Over on Youtube Lonnie has the same situation and CS CLOSES THE RETURN!
ZERO is how many times CS has stopped an obviously abusive return for me. Never have I had that happen.
So I guess if you are on YouTube they will close your abusive returns early.
For everything that happens conditions exist such that nothing else could have happened.
