Did you mean:

Wow

Just for fun, I copied and pasted my eBay "blocked bidder list" from the last 22 years into a Word document and there are 2,601 entries, and that's after removing all the blablabla@deleted IDs no longer registered. It's amazing to think that I added each of these "problematic" user IDs over the years, one by one.

Wow indeed.

Oh wait...I was wrong. I miscounted.

It's 4.

But have you had 150,000 transactions, or more like 1,000 transactions on eBay?

And people wonder why they cannot sell a thing. WOW, could you imagine if real stores did that.

WOW, I guess you don't know that B&Ms (unlike, I guess, our "fake" stores) actually DO have black lists - some buyers aren't welcome back for various reasons, including too many returns, causing problems in the store, shoplifting and vandalism.

Maybe your right and the OP has been ripped off 2,600 times by shoplifters like in real stores. After all those B&W real stores must have a BBL of a few hundred thousand people that cannot shop at their stores.

I know so.  Particularly smaller stores.  And I have at least one relation who was banned from TM Max for way too many returns - that's actually not that unusual.  There are also buyer limits in some stores (Coach for one). Smaller stores dealing in similar goods will actually share bad customers, as well.  Really, do you think merchants have NO idea of self-protection?  Of course they do.

That doesn't even make sense.

Every time the subject of BBLs comes up it brings with it a whiff of  this  competition, almost as if there's a moral high ground to not having any names on it, and anyone who does is somehow failing, even if those individuals know nothing of anyone else's business or circumstances, as if there's some kind of moral high ground to this.

Re: Wow

I never used my BBL til this year, I have 5 or 6 on there. Admittedly 2 could have stayed off but they annoyed me so got added lol.

Wait... we don't get a cookie for having our BBL empty? It was to my understanding that we do. And I just missed that reward every quarter.

@chapeau-noir

Regardless of what you say about moral high ground, IMO any seller who blocks that many people should find another line of work.
