Word document in store

Can I insert a word document somewhere in my store? We sell body oils and have several requests for a list of all the scents we carry? Thank you!!

Re: Word document in store

html is not allowed.

You can use wordpad (or Teach Text on a Mac) to type your list, and then copy/paste it into your listings.

Re: Word document in store

Documents created can be problematic when used in listings since the program uses formatting that can result in strange things happening when the page is displayed by many browsers.

Re: Word document in store

Best to use plain text.  Word format is not a Web standard.

If it works, sell it. If it works well, sell it for more. If it doesn't work, quadruple the price and sell it as an antique.

I use MS Word all the time.  I create my TOS there and when I need them I copy and paste them into a listing.  I don't attach a word doc to a listing, but I will create stuff in Word and then copy and paste it as needed into a listing.

One thing to keep in mind.  Don't get fancy.  Keep it plain and simple.  Some bullet points and things don't transfer well, so just the basics will be the best and easiest to do.
