I started selling handcrafted wreaths on my eBay shop and have not made any sells. They have been on my shop for about 3 weeks now with no success. I tried to see what I was doing different compared to my competitors, but I have no clue what I’m doing wrong. I added more photos, changed the titles to what I think customers would search up, wrote and added new descriptions. I even have them sponsored by eBay. It seems like my items are not really being viewed. Is the pricing too high? Does the title need fixing? Am I being impatient? What should I change? EBay Account: wonderful_wreaths

I wouldn't waste money on any eBay up-sell attempts (I know they'll offer you all kinds of incentives to pay extra for). Your listings look good; I have just a couple random thoughts...
That's all I've got right now. Good luck...

I think I found your problem...
go to eBay.com
Search for "wreaths"
There are
66,967 results!
and your listings are no where to be found...who is going to dig through 66,967 listings...lol..good luck...looks like you have a lot of competition.
PS. There are 1106 "patriotic" wreaths...some really cool designs and excellent workmanship...no offense, I'm just honest with you...yours look simple/cheap and the price is higher...go check out the competition..you are up against some really skilled craftspersons that are willing to work for less $$$.
You're going to have to up your game, drop your prices, or both if you want a piece of that market.

Your listings look great to me...I would closely follow what a.c.green (message #2) who has given you great advice to help you up your ante! Good luck, hang in there. It is slow going here so you are not the only one not seeing sales.

The best thing to do is look at sold listings and compare.

Wreaths, as others have mentioned, are usually a Holiday Season item. Unless you are making them for horse racing winner's circles or funerals which I believe are somewhat specialized markets and not a usual target market for eBay sellers.
By the way, you should probably remember that wreaths made with natural materials may be a problem with international markets since they are organic and may contain seeds.
Just for reference, your title should be, "Why Am I Not Making Sales?" rather than "Why Am I Not Making Sells?"

Please report inappropriate behavior. This will alert the moderators and they can look into the issue. We do ask that you only submit one report per post. eBay will not discuss actions taken on a user with any other user. The reporting function is anonymous.- Only persons aged 18 or over may post to the Community boards, even in cases where the account is owned by an adult. Are you aware that in your ad just below your pictures, ebay is showing about 10 other sellers wreaths in your ad with prices starting at 10.98 with free shipping under cutting you, now if you look at your own ad from your computer it wont show up, go to a friends house and look up your auctions and you will see it, Not fair is it that is where you are losing sales to your competitors and you cant compete with china and asia..........Da Nut

I would not pay $30 plus shipping for a wreath when I can go to the local thrift store and get one for $3-$5 - less than you are charging just for shipping. I buy a lot of wreaths - have one for just about every occasion, but it would never occur to me to shop for one on eBay.

Personally, I don't see 'the point' to copy & paste of policy info in it's entirety anyway.
But what do I know?
