Where are the questions going?

I always keep an eye on my messages and respond promptly.   But when I look at a summary of active listings, it says I have 81 questions.  When I try to click on them, the system tells me they are more than 90 days old.  I never saw them.  Is this just a glitch?

thanks

One thing might be if you respond to a question and get a thank you from the potential buyer. I don't respond usually to that thank you but it will show as an unanswered question.

I never see the questions in the first place.  It's like they vanished into an alternate reality....

Go to Seller Hub and click on "messages" there. Some other places don't work, giving you the 90 days old result.

@joliefran

You are right, it is very important to respond to buyer's questions.  It is part of our job as a seller.  In your case, what I would recommend is clearing out the 81 it says you need to respond to so you can start fresh.

From your Seller Hub in the Listings Box you will see Active listings and then just under that "with questions".  Click on that and just start marking everything as answered.

The you can have a fresh start.  I check my Seller Hub daily to make sure I've answered everyone's questions.

There is a little quirk on this screen.  Sometimes when we do answer the question from the buyer, it doesn't get removed from the list, so I have to remove it as I instructed you above.

Good Luck.

Have you never received an ebay message from a member with a question?  I always answer mine through the messages, since the other link isn't working.   As mentioned, sometimes I also have to manually mark the questions as answered on the seller hub to make that notification go away.   I've never had the notification show up, though,  without also receiving an email with some type of communication/question from another member.

It takes me to the same  version of messages as usual.

I only get buyer questions through messages...

Probably a glitch.  I can ONLY answer questions from my email.  If I do it in My Messages, I often get the red older than 90 days banner, which is a known & acknowledged bug.  But they don't know what causes it.

Okay, as long as you are getting them so that you can answer.  You can then mark them as answered to remove the notification.  I read your initial post as you weren’t getting any of the questions.
