What would you do?

I have 11 state bears for sale and a buyer buys 1.  I message to ask which one he wants and he says all; but, I didn't know how to do this.

I respond with instructions on how to add the remaining 10 to the cart and I can then send an invoice to pay.  No response.

I ask if he has any questions or has had a change of mind and wants to cancel.  Still crickets!!

I have to ship by end of day to avoid a ding on my account.  How would you proceed?  Thanks

Your not supposed to sell like that.  That was not listed with choices there is an eBay option for that. You can't just add it in as ebay would not get their cut.   Does the buyer expect to receive all of them? That is how ebay would take your listing.  If so, that will lead to a not as described case and could also get you poor feedback.

I’d take down the listing.  Even if buyers understand that they aren’t buying all eleven bears, how do you know that you won’t have more than one buyer for a particular bear?

I think you're going to get a ding anyway. Whether the buyer knows it's a 'choice' listing (which isn't ebay legal btw) or not, the answer "all" leads me to suspect he thinks the listing was for all 11 bears, not just one.

If you send one, he'll most likely file a SNAD when it's received.

So you may as well cancel the sale and take the defect now.

I'm not sure that category supports multi variation listings, so the only choice you have is to make a listing for each bear.
