Honestly. Every time I sign in something has changed.
I can't view who is bidding
I want to check a bidders feedback due to non paying and constant retraction.
Only time I see who it is , if I go to ebay app and even then I can't review their history. Have ONE bidder over bidding themselves is suspect and in my mind phoney!
So they are playing games and I can't research them!
Try typing in view a bidder or research and the scripted
Retract your bid pops up!
I really am disgusted with the run a round ebay gives its sellers. I am now rememering why I quit selling two years ago.

Bidders identity is protected until someone wins. Worry about who is paying after someone wins.

I assume the OP is talking about bidders on their own items, those are not hidden at any time.
Bidders and thus a link to their feedback page can be found on the listing page itself or in the Seller Hub Active Listings.

A buyer decides they want to increase their bid and you think that is "suspect"? I suggest you stop looking at bidder feedback until they actually become buyers and even then it won't lead to anything but problems not too mention lower selling prices.

It use to be sellers can research bidders so as not to deal with non paying people. And we could delete bids from those who have no feedback. Especially when we set guideline. Ebay says we can set stipulations but then prevents us from using them. Thank You. I didn't realize so much has changed.

Sellers haven't been allowed to leave negative feedback for buyers since 2008.
What "stipulations" does eBay say you can set? And how does eBay prevent you from using them, whatever they are?

Huh? The one bidder probably decided to increase their bid, ie; nibbling, which is super common, totally normal, completely acceptable & actually a good thing for the seller. Are you
sure you understand how bidders show up?

You probably don't care about non paying bidders. Increased relisteng fees and the waiting period in between. But I do. Anyone who outbids themselves by hundreds of $ is most likely a scam artist. Which proved to be correct. So your berating comments and condescending point is all for naught! If ebay says we can set guidelines then prevents us from regulating them. Then whats the point?? I rather delete a bidder then have others frightened away by some bored punk who has nothing better to do!

IDK, who your response is intended for, since you just responded to YOURSELF, instead of anyone who took their time to answer you, but the same buyer increasing their bid is incredibly common & usually indicates a great deal of interest in the item. I do it frequently.

What's wrong with this site?
The question should be......What's not wrong with this site?
A 9th grader could code a site better than this.
