Anybody have a clue what this is? Measures 5" x 3" x 2.5" deep. Opens. Has a hanging loop at top. TIA

I'm going to guess an Egg Ornament that opens up to reveal sweet treats inside.  At least that's what it reminds me of.

As a child growing up we always had egg ornaments filled with candy and a couple of quarters.

Is the second picture when it's opened? Also, is that a hole on the lower part of it in that same picture?
