Maybe someone in here can give greater insight to what is going on with eBay.
I've contacted eBay by phone several times and have received different answers every time.
But are servers down, is there a "glitch", are they throttling accounts?
I've gone from about 200k in impressions a day to under 60k in less than 3 weeks. I've been told that there was a "glitch" with my account, and a I.T. ticket was being submitted. Called back to see resolution, and and have been told that there was never a ticket submitted.
I list daily, submit offers, use promotions, "sell similar" but the more I do, the worse the symptoms get. Anyone have answers?

"Maybe someone in here can give greater insight to what is going on with eBay."
Well I think you answered your own question with:
"I've been told that there was a "glitch" with my account, and a I.T. ticket was being submitted. Called back to see resolution, and and have been told that there was never a ticket submitted."
And therein lies the answer. They are dishonest and will say whatever they want to get you off the phone or chat. The Ebay for business on Facebook used to be better than the other reps but they are now as worthless as the rest unfortunately.

It could be any or all of the things you mentioned ... or it could be that nobody is interested in your stuff ... or a combination of all. No way to know for sure.

The phone reps have a terrible reputation for getting you off the phone as soon as possible even if that mean giving you the advice you want to hear instead of the advice you need to have.

https://www.facebook.com/eBayForBusiness/ — Message button in upper right on landing page.

https://twitter.com/askebay?lang=en

https://community.ebay.com/t5/Selling/How-do-I-contact-Customer-Support/m-p/32016431#M1783851 -> Automated Assistant, type AGENT -> enter. You will then get more options.

The social media Chat accounts are covered by trained eBay employees with some authority.
And you get a transcript so you can compare what you heard with what you were told.

You have to look deeper. It's not what's going on with eBay, it's what's going on with the world.

The phone reps will say anything. You are better off coming here. Or use eBay’s social media outlets to reach out to customer service. Try eBay for Business Facebook page for better quality CSRs.
Pretty much the bottom line is that if it is something eBay is doing, they would likely not confirm such. However, I do believe we are experiencing a perfect storm of factors worrying the buying public. So it may not be eBay.
You mentioned your impressions. What about your sales?

I would have to agree with that. In all the many many years I have been selling this year has been one of the worst years as far as factors contributing to people holding onto their money to survive the inflation. That does not apply so much to needed and essential spending, but it does apply to spending on thing that are not essential for people in a certain income bracket. The wealthy will alway be able to spend spend spend.

When you have made reasonable efforts to change a situation for the better, sometimes there is very little
more left that you can attempt that would significantly improve the situation.

I do not think anyone at ebay could give an accurate answer to a question like this for any specific seller on here. Too many factors involved with why something is selling or not selling.

How about inflation still playing a factor here. My recent trip to a local Foodland involved picking up a 12 pack of toilet paper, a 3 pack of Kleenex tissues, and a bag of Hersheys kisses. Those 3 simple items cost $38.00 and I supposedly live in a "low" cost of living area. And on top of that gas just went up 20 cents a gallon to boot.
There could be a myriad of reasons for lower sales but make no mistake, inflation is one of them.

Something has been off with eBay for the past 2.5 weeks. I have experienced random examples of things not working correctly, almost completely lost traffic and sales, etc.
I have one item listed with the quantity discount thing, an Axis camera for $32. Someone bought 4 yesterday morning. They should have got it for $26-something each at quantity 4. EBay charged the full 32 each. I don't mind the extra money, but the whole point of setting up the quantity discount was to thwart the seller who priced his at $29.99. I have 400 of that model camera, so I don't care if the other seller undercuts me one at a time until he runs out, but I want to crush him if someone wants to buy 4 or more.
My craigslist sales are the same as always. Certain things, I can sell as many as I have there. I sell so many Dell Optiplex 7050 i7 16GB 512GB SSD there for $150 each, I have never listed that item on eBay.
Some of the things everyone blames for the current lack of eBay sales may be valid, but I'm convinced the main reason is eBay itself. Things aren't right here right now.

Nothing is going on and according to a lot of sellers that is the problem. If you haven't noticed through reading some of the postings on this forum eBay customer support, at least the call in support, is useless these days.

Sales are way down. Steady down trend. Even with promotions, coupons, listing everyday, relisting, and sell similar. I've look for some of my items and used the exact wording in the listing and it's no where to be found or it's on like page 3 or 4. Just doesn't make sense.

I have the same items on other platforms (Mercari, PoshMark, FB, OfferUp etc.) selling daily. But not eBay. It's an eBay issue. Traffic and sales have come to a crawl here. Not everywhere else.

Agreed. The eBay phone reps can't help with, "why are my sales slow". Calling in repeatedly for this types of issues and the plethora of other ambiguous issues is one of the reasons why there is no direct phone support to actual eBay employees
