What are the weirdest edits you've made to your eBay photos before listing?
Mine are "cleaning up" the appearance of a tape measure I had included in a bunch of photos. It was a very old tape measure that had gotten marked up by pens and markers from years of use, had holes in it where it was stuck with push pins at some point, and overall did not have a pleasant appearance.
I was photographing some items shortly after a move and it was the first tape measure I found while unpacking. Since I keep my eBay items clean and packed/stored well I didn't want the worn tape measure to give my listings a poor appearance, so I photoshopped a bunch of the pen marks out of the tape measure.
A couple days later I tossed that tape measure as I unearthed several others while unpacking. Photo editing is tedious and I don't want to do more than crop, rotate, adjust brightness if necessary, etc.
I know this is an odd topic for discussion, but I'm procrastinating when I should be listing new items so they have visibility this holiday weekend. ![]()

I can help you with that. Before rotating you need to make the canvas size bigger.

lol @plummer602
Thanks - she's a tuxedo (in my profile pic) Both of mine are tuxies. I swear they have selective shedding. They only shed black hair on the light fabrics and white hair on the darker fabrics.
There are just some things you can't edit out of pictures... like photo bombing kitties.

This sounds like a better idea. You can edit hair out of your photos, but some will stiil sneak into the box. ... maybe even the cat.

@kitchen-topia You can rotate those "tall" pics in Paint and save right side up ... I used Paint to fix up pics. Like if dirt or something gets in the pic that I did not see. I call it Electronic Cleaning ... the digital equivilent to wiping the dirt off the item or the background.

Cropping to include my monkey bookends which are holding up my book lots. I know, I know.... (snad and all that) , but ever since they changed those pixel parameters, many of my nicely cropped images were no longer large enough for the zoom feature. I'm not sure if I should keep including them. I feel like they're a trademark now, amd decided to add them to my profile id's. One faces left, the other right. Subliminal marketing ploy....hey, there's a thought! I can target to my audience by left facing or right facing reading apes.
