Watchers with zero views?

How does one watch a listing they never viewed before?  I seen a post about this but I can't find it ATM, I'm getting watchers on listings with 0 views, is it just totally broken?  Is that why some items never increase in views?

  Does that have anything to do with my 1 day handling time but every listing so far this week, the minute it sells is "ship now" in red?  I'm being afforded zero handling time....   I'm not a massively high volume seller but one day handling gets tough at times and I do sell on other sites.  Zero handling time seems excessive....

Couple ways:

You can watch an item without viewing it by clicking on the heart icon on a list of items when you do a search.

Views drop off after 30 days which can leave you with 1 watcher and 0 views if the view dropped off and there are no new views.

Views and watchers have no effect or correlation with handling time. None.
