I spoke with a representative from ebay yesterday. She was very nice and understanding. I stated that since they changed the algorithms on the view counts that sellers were experiencing less views and sales were down. I also let her know that I would have to find another venue to sell on if this continues. I do not believe that they understand that they have done something wrong, but considering that I have NOT changed anything about the way I list and others as well. This would point the issue to them. They have changed something and not the sellers. I would ask that all sellers that are experiencing these issues to call ebay and let them know of their displeasure with the new system.

I'm sorry you are experiencing issues.

I have no issues here.

Could be that people are just not in the market for pokemon cards and the like right now.

Calling ebay reps that barely speak english and explaining the dissatisfaction will do nothing. They do not care in the least bit. They will just tell you what you want to hear and/or transfer to random departments because they don't want to hear you anymore. I would agree that something has changed but sadly, eBay does not care. They will just result in raising fees to solve the problem in their minds lol.

Ebay vault, buying nft marketplace and all the other crap they are into lately do you really think the little seller matters to them? they probably wish more little sellers would disappear so they can concentrate on the big change over. They would have customer service hand holding smaller sellers if they actually cared. .

But more importantly; the previous 'views' were bots and not people. Now it's real people.

So; nothing has changed regarding algos or views or buyers. The economy says so.

Do you think that representative cares that you would no longer sell on eBay?

For all we know, the people in those call centers keep a daily tally of how many callers threaten to leave eBay or threaten to sue eBay. Maybe they all chip in some spare change for every caller who threatens to quit selling, and then all go out for drinks on Friday afternoons.
