Hey guys going for an extended stay in Florida. I want to place my store on hold for items I have listed at home before leaving, but also want to be able to source and list in Florida. I would like to be able sell and ship from there for new items listed.
is this possible?

Thanks

Dwayne

Time away is all or nothing, it applies to you account, you can't pick and choose which listings it applies to.

First of all you cannot have both kinds of listings at one time. However this is what I did for 6 years, as we would go away for 3 months each year. I shipped much of my inventory so I could have an uninterrupted business. If you don’t want to do that, then end your listings, and once you get to Florida start listing the new items . I would ship about 14 priority mail large flat rate boxes down to the post office where we were going to be, and I did add some more items during the three months. It worked very well.

Just thought of a workround........

Turn on the Out Of Stock option, bulk edit the Quantity available to zero on all your current listings. When you get to Florida start listing the new stuff that you have or acquire while in Florida.

When you return home you can bulk edit the old listings back to the original quantities.

Out Of Stock listings will continue (can't be purchased) for at least 6 months before eBay will end them.

Presuming you are bringing any leftover Florida listings back home you would just need to bulk edit the Item Location for those listings from  Florida to wherever home is.

Open a second ebay account.

Not really a viable solution, the new account would be subject to seller limits, payment holds and other issues.

I would end all of my local listings and just list whatever I'm going to sell while in Florida - as long as it's not over 90 days (in which case you'd lose your other listings) you can just start them up again when you get back.

do OOS on the fixed price.

just let the auctions end with enough time for the "slow payers" prior to departure
