Type VHS in the search field and then choose 'sold' items.
That's the best way to see for yourself.

I've sold lots of VHS - but my offerings were in niches which cinemaphiles enjoy and had not been transferred yet to DVD and would likely not be streamed.

Tape is a friable storage medium, though, kind of like cassettes, the material only lasts so long so there's that to consider.

Yes, they do sell, but not as well as DVD's. Part of what keeps people buying VHS movies if the fact that many of them were never ported over to DVD, Blu-Ray, or digital. I have been listing more VHS tapes for sale this past week as I'm running low on DVD's and have no more blu-rays left to list.

Blu-Rays sell pretty good too, but the winners for me are still DVD's.

DVD's and VHS tapes bring the best profits for me. I buy most of my product in lots right here on ebay. The problem I often run into is sellers being dishonest about the condition of the DVD lots they sell. I find the smaller sellers typically sell the best quality media lots, and they're typically more honest about the condition of what they sell.

I got burned twice by 2 mega sellers, learned my lesson. If they lie about the condition and send me trash, I send it right back on their dime.

it all depends on what it is, one place to look is the dead movie fault. they are movies that will never be put on DVD ,they were movies in certain cats, that did alright but they decided to let them them die, and never release them on DVD ,
