I got a VERO report on an item I am selling. Ebay has totally changed things since the last time I got one.
They have made it much easier to fix the reported auction and give tips and hints on how to properly word it so it fits Ebay's requirements.
I made the adjustments, I'm just wondering if I need to wait a day or so to see if it's still in violation or how does that work? It doesn't tell you right away if the changes made will make everyone happy or what's going on.

Once you have had an item taken down by eBay due to what ever reason, it is advisable not to relist it, as it will be removed again and possibly jeopardize your seller account. Don't relist.

They may have "made it easier" but I doubt the slope is any less slippery. Most sellers here will tell you the easy answer is to not relist, almost never is the solution as simple as changing a few words although ebay most certainly makes it appear that way. If anything it may be more tempting to relist which makes this even trickier. For those of us who have been caught up in this nasty web, we are very nervous around anything VERO.

It's unusual for VeRO to "give tips and hints on how to properly word it so it fits Ebay's requirements" because it's not ebay whose policy you violated but the rights owner's rights. Unless you wrote to the VeRO contact person named in a VeRO violation, it's unlikely they told you how to relist it. And if you called ebay and CS advised you, they've had a notorious history of giving inaccurate info.
I don't see any listings currently posted so it's hard to speculate on what happened.
Are you sure it was VeRO who reported your listing to ebay?
Did you use the manufacturer's pictures and/or description?
Did you use a trademarked word to describe an item that is not that trademark?
What did the removal notice say?

Well here's an update....
I seriously think they made some very positive steps in the VERO system.

Ok I found that other email....
- Your listing was reported by ________________., Inc. for using their brand name inappropriately. eBay’s Verified Rights Owner (VeRO) program offers intellectual property owner(s) a way to report listings that they believe infringe on their rights
- Brand names cannot be used in listings if the product isn’t manufactured by, or compatible with, that brand. You may use "compatible with", "fits", or "for" before a brand name, if the item described is specifically designed to be compatible with the products of that brand
-- Using a trademark owner's logos without permission is not allowed.
- If you believe a mistake has been made, you will need to contact the rights owner directly. If the rights owner approves your appeal, please have them contact us directly to reinstate your listing(s)
You can send an email to:

So sorry for your situation. Unfortunately, this is the down side of having bots and AI run things....it's such a mess. I'm still not seeing any listings on this ID. Perhaps you are using another one. As others have advise, just tread lightly, ok? All the best.
Happy Selling

You are fundamentally mistaken about what VERO is an how it works. A VERO report is initiated at the discretion of a third-party Intellectual Property Rights holder.
There are no "eBay requirements" for fixing a listing in response to a VERO report. The only requirements are those of the third-party Intellectual Property Rights holder who filed it.

I literally have the "receipts" above. Highlighted from EBAY EMAILS sent to me.
